We flew into Chicago to do a “behind the scenes” documentary on Bob Davis as he simulated a wedding shoot using the EOS 40D.
Bob arranged to shoot in a lovely old building with very quaint architectural details. His makeup and hair artist went to work as we set up to light and shoot. Old buildings do make for some interesting “ghost” noises, so we had to investigate a few sources and once the ghost hunters finished, we were able to grab our interview clips.
Then Bob really went to work and photographed the “before the wedding” scenes. The groom shaving, with a little help from the bride; the bride in makeup and hair styling; the portraits of the wedding couple in various settings. The staircase, the alley between the buildings, the street in front of the building, even the railroad tracks became sets for his shoot.
Bob was truly in his element with a photojournalistic style of shooting a wedding. He created a memorable story of this most important event.
