The Rogers Wildlife Rehabilitation Center was the location David selected to use the 5D Mark II for his short documentary. It was a great opportunity to get great footage with minimal lighting and gear.

A bird sanctuary. An interesting place to try to get good clean sound bytes for our interview. But, we had done that before with Artie Morris in the Alligator Farm! Turkeys, ducks, chickens, what a cacophony of sound!! Would we ever be able to shoot on a sound stage?! Probably not.

Rudy Winston from Canon joined us on the set with David as he shared many of his photojournalistic techniques in shooting his interview of the owner. We then took the shoot into David’s workspace and he showed us his workflow and edit procedures that allow him to quickly get his stories to press.
